Year 12 student, Lucy Alexander, has secured a place at the High Performance Netball Academy which is part of the Leeds Rhinos Foundation. Lucy was identified as having the desire and potential to play at International and/or National Super League level.
The programme involves an intensive training programme and working with coaches at Leeds Rhinos as well as nutritionists, psychologists and staff at Leeds Beckett University. Hard work is involved, with frequent training sessions every few days and competitive games during most weeks.
We will be supporting Lucy throughout her time at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School. She is highly motivated and excited about the opportunity and we wish her every success. Well done Lucy!
