Congratulations are in order to our Sixth Form girls’ swimming team following another success in the English Schools’ Swimming Championships.
Having won the North West Championships in the medley and freestyle relays in September, the Sixth Form swimming team, comprising Hannah Procter, Martha Smith, Ellie Perris and Ellie Ward, went on to represent the region on Saturday 18th November at the Olympic Aquatics Centre in London. The girls improved their qualifying time in the freestyle and finished 15th in the country. In the Medley relay they reached the final, finishing in an incredible 10th place in the country!
Well done to all four girls and thank you to the parents who gave up their time to ensure the girls could take part.
