We were delighted to hear that former student, Heather Robinson, has been awarded a 2016 Diamond Jubilee Scholarship by the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET).
Heather left CRGS in 2016 with excellent A Level results (3 A grades) in Maths, Physics and Biology (and proficiency in several musical instruments), to study Music Technology Systems at the University of York.
We wish Heather every success in her university studies and beyond.

The Diamond Jubilee Scholarship programme is run by the IET and the scholarships are named in honour of the IET’s patron, Her Majesty The Queen. They aim to help address the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) skills shortage in the UK. The main aim of the initiative is to encourage talented students to study IET accredited courses, which will put them on a path that is not only challenging and rewarding, but is also vital to future prosperity.
