On Friday 28th October 30 Year 10 and 11 students flew to Reykjavik to embark on a five-day trip. Below is a student’s account of his time in Iceland.
The Iceland trip was fantastic! I loved every minute of it, from going in the monster truck to seeing the effects of the Eyjafjallajökull, a volcano on the Eastern Volcanic Zone in southern Iceland. All the sights were splendid and incredibly interesting. It was a real pleasure to see some of the most amazing landmarks ever, such as the double waterfall Gullfoss, ‘the queen of Icelandic waterfalls’ and Geysir, even if the weather wasn’t that good!
Overall, it was an utterly amazing experience and I am certainly glad that I went.
