On Tuesday 30th June we hosted a morning of ‘Employer Encounters’ for our Key Stage 3 students.
Students had two sessions during a busy hour, which involved each speaker delivering a short presentation, giving them an insight into career sectors, progression routes, skills and qualifications as well as key advice. This was then followed by a chance to interact and ask questions. We would very much like to thank all of our guest speakers for giving up a morning to work with our students in this way.

Our students found the talks to be fascinating and it was encouraging to see them asking numerous thoughtful questions. We hope that the sessions have helped to move their thinking on and have opened their eyes to the many opportunities – and perhaps to some of the realities – of the working world.
