During the February half-term break 26 Year 11 and Year 13 students and 4 staff took part in an action-packed trip to Iceland during the break.
We got to walk on a glacier; visit huge waterfalls; see geysers and hot springs; visit the rift between the Eurasian and North American plates; visit the evacuated town of Grindavik, walk up to and touch icebergs in glacier lagoons; go to a lava show and enjoy a Flyover Iceland experience and much more.
The trip was amazing and the students were great ambassadors for our school and our country. Mr Powell, Ms Ashton, Mr Smith & Mrs Spencer all very much enjoyed the experience as did our students.
