Our Sixth Form students organised a fantastic Cultures Day on Friday 3rd March, raising a very impressive £1,520.50 for the Save the Children Emergency Fund to provide aid to Syria and Turkey following the recent earthquakes. There were 28 stalls, each representing a different country, with plenty of traditional dress, food and drink. There was also a Bollywood Bonanza at lunchtime and henna painting.
The event was entirely student-led and thanks to the hard work of Alisha, Waleeja and the rest of the team.
