On Saturday 1st July, Year 13 students celebrated their two years in our Sixth Form at the Year 13 Prom, held at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa in Clayton-le-Moors.
A big ‘thank you’ goes to our Year 13 Head Boy and Head Girl, James Webb and Autumn Bolton, for all their hard work organising the event. The occasion included a very pleasant three-course meal and a ‘magic mirror’ (which proved very popular in providing a photographic record of the occasion) as well as an excellent DJ who played all the musical requests from students.
We would like to thank the staff at the Dunkenhalgh for helping to ensure that it was a very enjoyable occasion and we wish all Year 13 students an enjoyable summer break before A Level results day on Thursday 17th August.
